The other shows two figures drawn into an embrace: one stands with his arms open while the second leans down toward him from the beam of a cross.
That embrace is one of the great subjects of devotional art, Christ loosing an arm from the cross to take hold of the saint who kneels before it, an image of consolation given in the middle of suffering rather than after it.
