The Vintage Bronze Holy Face and Guadalupe Rosary Center carries a devotion on each side within a scalloped ring of fluted shell forms, so that both faces sit a little recessed and protected. The front holds the Holy Face of Christ crowned with thorns, the head inclined and the hair falling to the shoulders, modelled with real feeling in a very small compass.
The reverse turns to Our Lady of Guadalupe, standing in her mandorla of rays with her head bowed and her hands joined, the image of the tilma of Tepeyac reduced to its essentials. Neither side is lettered, which leaves the relief to speak for itself.
