The Vintage Bronze Crucifix with Flowering Arms and INRI shows the cross coming into leaf. Foliage spreads along both arms and up the shaft above the corpus, a four-petalled rosette opens at the end of each arm, and a fan of rays widens across the foot, so the cross seems to flower outward from the figure at its center.
Above the head a furled scroll carries INRI, the Latin Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum, Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews, the charge Pilate ordered fixed to the cross. Those four letters keep the title exactly as Scripture records it, an accusation the Church has always read back as a confession of faith. The flowering arms answer it in another key: the wood that bore the Crucifixion shown breaking into bloom.
