The Vintage Sterling Silver Sacred Heart Cross with Rays sets the burning heart at the crossing of a small flared cross, flames rising from the top of it and drops falling beneath, the whole laid on a sunburst cut in fine close rays. A fleur-de-lis marks the upper and lower arms, and the two side arms are pierced open in a scrolled outline that lets the light through.

The flames are love, the drops are the blood of the wound in his side, and the rays spreading to all four arms say that what happened at the center reaches outward without limit.
