Vintage Bronze Radiant Cross with the Praying Virgin

The Radiant Cross with the Praying Virgin is a cross and a medal at once. Its arms are filled with delicate engraved scrollwork and set against a broad sunburst whose fine rays spill out past the arms on every side. At the center stands the Virgin, veiled, her hands joined at her breast, a rosary hanging at her side and roses gathered at her feet.
Mary at prayer is the oldest picture the Church keeps of her, the woman who held all these things and pondered them in her heart. The roses at her feet and the rosary over her arm are hers by long custom, and the light behind her is the older language of glory, the same burst that surrounds her in a hundred sanctuary windows. The ray-cutting is exceptionally fine, so the whole cross seems lit from within rather than merely decorated.
The cross was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
