Our Lady stands at the center with her arms lowered and open, the attitude in which she was described at the Rue du Bac in Paris in 1830.
The reverse carries the traditional device: the letter M crossed by a bar and surmounted by a cross, the hearts of Jesus and Mary beneath it, and twelve stars set around the field.
