The Vintage Bronze Praying Madonna Filigree Rosary Center places Our Lady at the middle of a spreading field of openwork. She stands with her hands joined and her veil falling to the hem, and the filigree behind her opens to either side in scrolls and small flat rosettes, wide enough that the whole center takes the shape of a pair of open wings. A single leaf form finishes the base beneath her feet.
There is no lettering, and none is wanted: this is simply Our Lady at prayer, in the attitude in which she is asked to pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
