Vintage Bronze Our Lady Rosary Center with Lilies of the Valley

On the Vintage Bronze Our Lady Rosary Center with Lilies of the Valley, stems arch across the top of the frame with their bells hanging free and curve down either side. In the round medallion at the middle stands a crowned Our Lady in a wide bell-shaped mantle, rays rising behind her head and a row of fine beading laid along the hem at her feet.
That stiff triangular mantle is a robe rather than drapery. It is how a dressed devotional statue looks, vested and crowned for a feast, and shrine medals across France and Spain show their Madonnas in exactly this way. Lily of the valley is her flower as well, called Our Lady's tears, the first white thing to come up in May, the month given to her. There is no lettering on the piece; the crown and the flowers carry all of it.
The rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
