The Vintage Bronze Our Lady of Fatima Plaque Medal holds an entire apparition in an inch and a half. Our Lady stands crowned on a slender pedestal in a long bell-shaped robe, the rocky hillside of the Cova da Iria rising behind her, and at the foot of the pedestal the shepherd children kneel with their arms lifted toward her.
Our Lady came to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta through the summer of 1917 and asked them, month after month, for the daily rosary, for penance, and for prayer for the conversion of sinners. Nothing on this medal is lettered; the scene carries the whole account by itself, and the deep relief gives it the character of a small shrine that can be worn.
The Fatima plaque medal was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves the medal's vintage character.
