The Vintage Bronze Marriage Rosary Center takes the French marriage medal and makes it the heart of a set of beads. A man in a cloak and a veiled woman stand side by side at a low altar, her hand laid on his arm, their heads inclined together, the drapery falling in long classical folds against a finely grained ground. The reverse is a plain field inside a deep wreath of roses, with a small interlaced monogram at its centre.
A word is set in the field on either side of the couple: FIDELITE and BONHEUR, fidelity and happiness, in that order, the first understood to produce the second. It makes a natural centrepiece for a wedding rosary or an anniversary set, joining the two intentions to the beads that will be prayed on them for years afterward.
The marriage rosary center was faithfully reproduced from an antique original and cast in the USA using a traditional fine-detail casting process that preserves its vintage character.
