The Infant stands crowned, his right hand raised in blessing and a globe steadied in his left, wearing the wide bell-shaped robe of the dressed statue, its front worked all over with scrolling ornament. Behind him a burst of spiked rays opens out to either side, giving the piece a starry, processional silhouette.
