The Vintage Bronze Eye of God Rosary Center is heart-shaped and barely half an inch across, worked on both faces inside a beaded border. The front carries the eye of God set within a triangle, rays breaking outward from it and small stars filling the field around; the reverse turns to a cross rising from a bar above the letter M.
The eye within the triangle is the oldest shorthand for the providence of the Father, the God who sees and who watches over what is small and far away. The M beneath its cross is the Marian monogram from the reverse of the Miraculous Medal, standing for Mary's place at the foot of the Passion. Between them the two faces set God's watchfulness beside the Virgin's intercession, which is a great deal of meaning for so little metal, and the heart shape makes its own quiet argument.
