Our Jewelry Metals
A quick guide to the materials used in our religious jewelry.
🌟 Gold
Pure 24K gold is too soft for everyday jewelry, so most pieces are crafted from 14K or 18K gold. When we list an item as "14K Gold," it's solid gold—not plated or filled.
💍 Sterling Silver
An alloy of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper for added strength. Pure silver is too soft for functional jewelry, making sterling the ideal choice.
💫 Gold-Filled
A thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal under heat and pressure. Far more durable than gold plating—it won't flake, rub off, or discolor.
🩶 Rhodium
A rare platinum-group metal prized for its bright finish and corrosion resistance. Often used to plate white gold and silver for extra durability and shine.
🪙 Pewter
A classic alloy of 85–99% tin mixed with copper and antimony. Today's pewter is lead-free, affordable, and has a beautiful antique character.
✨ While some of our religious medals come as a set, already paired with a specific chain, the majority of our medals give you the option to choose from a variety of chains.
If you prefer a different chain for a medal that's part of a set, or if you don't see your preferred chain style in the medal's chain options, we have many other options available for purchase separately.
Engraving adds a unique, personalized touch to our jewelry. While we usually process engraved orders the same day, sometimes engraving can add up to 24 hours of extra time for your order's delivery.
⚠️ Engravable items are non-returnable, so please double-check the text you ask us to engrave.
