St. Zygmunt Gorazdowski
Polish-Ukrainian priest (1845-1920), priest of Lviv (then Austrian Galicia, now Ukraine) who founded the Sisters of St. Joseph (1884) for care of the abandoned poor, and the first soup kitchens, orphanages, and schools for the children of the urban poor in Lviv. Canonized 2005 by Benedict XVI.
