St. Wolfgang of Regensburg
German Benedictine bishop (c. 934-994), Swabian-born Benedictine of Einsiedeln, missionary in Pannonia, then Bishop of Regensburg from 972; reformer of his diocese, founder of the bishopric of Prague (973), tutor of Emperor St. Henry II. Canonized 1052 by Leo IX.
