St. Vitalis of Bologna
Italian martyr (d. c. 304), of Bologna, with St. Agricola his master—Agricola converted by Vitalis's example. Both martyred under Diocletian; their relics were discovered by St. Ambrose at Bologna in 393. Pre-Congregation.
