St. Vincent Strambi
Italian Passionist bishop (1745-1824), of Civitavecchia, Passionist priest then Bishop of Macerata-Tolentino from 1801; refused the Napoleonic oath of allegiance and was exiled six years (1808-1814). Pius VII recalled him at the end of his life as personal advisor. Canonized 1950 by Pius XII.
