St. Vincent of Saragossa
Spanish deacon and martyr (d. c. 304), of Saragossa, deacon to St. Valerius; under Diocletian's edicts arrested at Valencia, tortured horribly, and died of his wounds. Subject of one of the most popular early-Christian Acta and of homilies by Augustine and Prudentius. Patron of Lisbon and Valencia. Pre-Congregation.
