St. Vincent Madelgarus
Frankish nobleman and abbot (c. 615-677), of Strépy, husband of St. Waldetrudis; both spouses entered religious life by mutual consent c. 652. Founded the abbey of Hautmont and the abbey of Soignies. Pre-Congregation.
