North African virgin martyr (d. 304), of Abitina (modern Tunisia); among the 49 "Abitinian Martyrs" arrested for celebrating the Sunday Eucharist contrary to Diocletian's edict ("Sine dominico non possumus"—"Without the Sunday we cannot live"). Beheaded at Carthage. Pre-Congregation; authentic Acta survive.
