St. Urban I
Pope from 222-230, Roman; succeeded St. Callixtus I and reigned during the relatively peaceful reign of Severus Alexander. Tradition (now considered legendary) makes him a martyr; Roman Martyrology preserves his memorial. Pre-Congregation.
