St. Susanna of Rome
Roman virgin martyr (d. c. 295), traditionally a niece of Pope St. Caius, beheaded under Diocletian for refusing marriage to a kinsman of the emperor. The ancient Roman titular church of Santa Susanna at the Baths of Diocletian preserves her cultus. Pre-Congregation; biography traditional.
