St. Susanna
Jewish heroine of the deuterocanonical Daniel 13, falsely accused of adultery by two corrupt elders whose advances she refused; vindicated by the boy Daniel's cross-examination of the false witnesses. Patron of those falsely accused. Roman Martyrology lists her with Daniel and his companions on December 17 in some traditions; February 19 has been a common Western date.
