St. Suitbert
Anglo-Saxon Benedictine missionary (c. 647-713), companion of St. Willibrord on the Frisian mission; consecrated bishop in England in 693, evangelized the Bructeri in northwestern Germany before founding the abbey of Kaiserswerth on a Rhine island near Düsseldorf. Pre-Congregation.
