St. Sigfrid
Anglo-Saxon missionary bishop (d. c. 1045), traditionally a monk of Glastonbury sent by King Mildred to evangelize Sweden; first Bishop of Växjö, baptized King Olof Skötkonung. Patron of Sweden alongside St. Eric IX; pre-Congregation cultus.
