St. Sarah
Hebrew matriarch (Genesis 11-23), wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac, conceived in extreme old age according to the divine promise; one of the great types of faith (Heb 11:11; 1 Pet 3:6). The Roman Martyrology commemorates the patriarchs and matriarchs of Israel; no single fixed Roman feast.
