St. Regina
Gallic virgin martyr (3rd century, traditional), of Alise (Alesia) in Burgundy, daughter of a pagan whose Christian widowed nurse raised her secretly; refused marriage to the Roman governor Olybrius and was tortured and beheaded. Pre-Congregation; biography parallels Margaret of Antioch.
