Lebanese Maronite nun (1832-1914), of Himlaya near Beirut, member of the Maronite Lebanese Order; over the last twenty-nine years of her life prayed to share Christ's Passion and was answered with progressive blindness, paralysis, and bone-disease. First Maronite saint; canonized 2001 by John Paul II.
