St. Quodvultdeus
North African bishop and theologian (d. c. 450), Bishop of Carthage from c. 437; correspondent of St. Augustine, exiled to Naples by the Arian Vandal king Genseric in 439 with much of his diocese. Author of catechetical sermons and the "Book of the Promises and Predictions of God." Pre-Congregation.
