St. Prisca
Roman virgin martyr (3rd century, traditional), traditionally martyred under Claudius; the ancient Roman titular church of Santa Prisca on the Aventine bears her name. Distinguish from the New Testament Priscilla ("Prisca") of Acts and the Pauline letters, with whom she has sometimes been confused. Pre-Congregation; biography legendary.
