St. Odo of Cluny
French Benedictine abbot (c. 878-942), second abbot of Cluny from 927; reformer of monasteries throughout France and Italy at papal commission, including the famous restoration of Fleury and the abbey of St. Paul-Outside-the-Walls in Rome. Author of the "Occupatio," "Collationes," and a Life of St. Gerald of Aurillac. Pre-Congregation.
