St. Obitius
Italian soldier-turned-religious (c. 1150-1204), Brescian nobleman whose conversion came when he was thought dead on the battlefield and had a vision of hell; entered the Benedictine convent of San Salvatore at Brescia as a lay brother. Pre-Congregation.
