Welsh hermitess (5th century), mother of St. David of Wales; tradition makes her a violated nun, perhaps daughter of a Pembrokeshire chieftain. After David's birth, lived as a hermitess at Altarnun in Cornwall. Pre-Congregation; biography legendary.
