St. Narcissus of Girona
Bishop of Girona (d. c. 307, traditional), traditionally a Catalan-German missionary to Augsburg before returning to Girona where he was martyred under Diocletian. Patron of Girona; popular legend records that flies miraculously emerged from his tomb to drive off French invaders in the 13th century. Pre-Congregation; biography largely traditional.
