St. Marcellinus
Pope from 296-304, Roman; his pontificate fell entirely within the Diocletian persecution. Donatist tradition (rejected by the catholici) accused him of having handed over Scriptures during the persecution; the issue is debated. Roman Martyrology lists him as martyr.
