St. Manuel González García
Spanish bishop and apostle of devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. While preaching a parish mission as a young priest he discovered an abandoned tabernacle covered in cobwebs in a country chapel, an experience that became the founding moment of his lifelong vocation. He founded the Disciples of St. John and the Eucharistic Missionaries of Nazareth, dedicated to reparation before the Blessed Sacrament. His writings on the Eucharist remain widely read in the Spanish-speaking world.
