St. Leopold III
Austrian margrave (1073-1136), "Leopold the Pious," Margrave of Austria from 1095, founder of Klosterneuburg, Heiligenkreuz, and Mariazell. Refused election as Holy Roman Emperor (1125). Patron of Austria; canonized 1485 by Innocent VIII.
