St. Lazarus of Bethany
Brother of Sts. Martha and Mary of Bethany, raised from the dead by Jesus four days after burial (Jn 11). Tradition divergent: Eastern legend makes him the first bishop of Kition (Cyprus); Western Provençal legend makes him with his sisters a missionary to Marseille and its first bishop.
