St. John Leonardi
Italian priest (1541-1609), pharmacist's assistant turned priest; founded the Clerks Regular of the Mother of God at Lucca (1574) and was a key collaborator in establishing the Roman College de Propaganda Fide. Canonized 1938 by Pius XI.
