St. Honoratus of Arles
Gallo-Roman abbot and bishop (c. 350-429), founded the monastery of Lérins on an island off the Provençal coast c. 410, which became one of the great centers of Latin Christianity producing Sts. Hilary, Caesarius, and Eucherius among many others. Ended his life as archbishop of Arles. Pre-Congregation.
