St. Habakkuk
Hebrew minor prophet of the late 7th century BC, author of the canonical book of Habakkuk in which he questions God concerning Babylonian violence and receives the answer that "the just shall live by faith" (Hab 2:4) - quoted by St. Paul in Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews. Roman Martyrology lists him January 15.
