St. Gleb
Younger son of St. Vladimir the Great of Kyivan Rus'; like his brother Boris, refused to defend himself against half-brother Sviatopolk and was assassinated. With Boris, the first saint canonized in the Slavic Church. Canonized in the Catholic Church in 1724 by Pope Benedict XIII. Feast July 24 (with Boris).
