St. Genesius of Arles
Gallo-Roman martyr (d. c. 303), catechumen and notary at Arles who refused to record an imperial edict against the Christians, declared his faith publicly, and was beheaded by the Rhône. Patron of notaries and secretaries. Pre-Congregation cultus.
