St. Faustinus and St. Jovita
Brescian brothers and martyrs (d. c. 120), traditionally noble Christians who preached publicly under Hadrian, were tortured at Brescia, Milan, Rome, and Naples, and finally beheaded at Brescia. Patrons of Brescia, where the cathedral preserves their relics; legendary cycle, but cultus ancient and well-attested.
