St. Ezekiel
Hebrew priest and prophet of the 6th century BC, deported to Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar; received the visions of the throne-chariot, the dry bones, and the new temple recorded in the book bearing his name. Commemorated April 10 in some martyrologies; Roman Martyrology lists July 23.
