St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal
Indian Carmelite mystic of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, known throughout her lifetime as the 'Praying Mother of Ollur.' From the convent of St. Mary's at Ollur she lived a hidden life of intense prayer and mystical experiences for forty-eight years, while drawing thousands of pilgrims who came to her for spiritual counsel. Her body was found incorrupt at her exhumation in 1987.
