St. Emeric of Hungary
Prince of Hungary (c. 1007-1031), son of St. Stephen I and St. Gisela; educated by St. Gerard Sagredo and intended for the throne, died young in a hunting accident before he could succeed. Patron of Hungarian youth. Canonized 1083 by Gregory VII alongside his father.
