St. Colman of Lindisfarne
Irish bishop of Lindisfarne (d. 676), defender of the Celtic Easter calculation at the Synod of Whitby in 664; when his position was rejected he led the Celtic monks back to Ireland, founding the monastery of Inishbofin. Feast February 18.
