St. Andrew Bobola
Polish Jesuit missionary and martyr (1591-1657), tortured and killed by Cossacks in Lithuania during the Khmelnytsky Uprising for his work among the Orthodox. His incorrupt body is venerated in Warsaw. Canonized 1938. Feast May 16.
