St. Aloysius Gonzaga
Italian Jesuit novice (1568-1591) of the noble Gonzaga family, who renounced his marquisate to enter the Society of Jesus; died at twenty-three after contracting plague while caring for the sick in Rome. Patron of youth, students, and AIDS sufferers. Feast June 21.
